The Department of Agriculture has endorsed the new food guide “pyramid,” replacing the “basic four” food groups wheel instituted in 1946. Emphasis is placed on eating a diet low in fat and added sugar. To receive a copy of “The Food Guide Pyramid. . .Beyond the Basic4” stop by the Extension Office or call Helen at 675-3619.
