The fire department is just one of the many organizations the Rev. Hobson has helped out ih the nearly 20 years he has been rector of Trinity Episcopal Church.
Jenks came to Trinity Church in 1973 as a deacon and was ordained a priest one year later. “At that time the church had an average Sunday attendance of fewer than 50,” said former senior warden Sean Kilpatrick. Attendance has nearly doubled over the past two decades he added. “The most important reason for that, is Jenks. His ability to listen, really listen is the most important skill of any good minister,” he said.
