New Year's
closings
The following businesses and county offices will have special hours during the New Year’s season:
The county offices will be closed Dec. 31 and Jan. 1.
The Rappahannock National Bank in Washington will close at 2 p.m. on Dec. 31 and be closed Jan. 1.
The Farmers and Merchants Bank in Flint Hill will be closed Jan. 1.
The Rappahannock Social Services Department will be closed Dec. 31 and Jan. 1 as will the Rappahannock Health Department.
The Rappahannock Library will be closed Jan. 1.
Area post offices will be closed Jan. 1.
Family Guidance Services of Rappahannock will close at noon on Dec. 30 and will be closed Dec. 31 and Jan. 1. In case of an emergency, members of the staff will be on call and messages can be left by calling their ahswering machine at 6763329.
The Rappahannock Newt will be closed on Jan. 1.
