Program at Library
The Jan. 8 First Friday program at the Rappahannock Library will be “Facing Tough Challenges: Kussja Today." The speaker is career diplomat Jon Purnell, an expert on U.S.-Russian relations. Mr. Purnell has recently returned from Russia where he witnessed firsthand the many changes taking place in the country’s government and saw how it is effecting life in that country. The program starts at 8 p.m. at the Library. Admission is free. Refreshments and a chance to meet the speaker will follow. For more information, call the Library at 675-3780.
Play group forming
