Tom Zumwalt had set up new microphones for this meeting, to see if they would solve the problem of bad acoustics in the Town Hall. They seemed to work fine if the person speaking would be no further than four or five inches away from the microphone.
Charles Eldred, one of the three members of the Street Lighting Committee, said that he and members Peter Kramer and Tom Tupper had not been able to have & meeting yet. However, Mr. Kramer attended a meeting in Harpers Ferry, W.Va.,and Mr. Eldred reported on that.
