Position Title and Location: Extension Agent, 4-H/ANR (Pest Management) Rappahannock County, Virginia v Position FA803

Professional faculty position, lecturer rank, non-tnure track. Available Immediately. Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience. Position restricted through 6/30/95.

Duties: Provide leadership in planning, implementing, and evaluating Extension educational programs in 4-H youth and agriculture wltha pest management specialization.

Recruit, train and manage volunteers.

Assist with other programs and with the total Extension program as determined by the plan of work, unit staff, district staiT, and function as a team member.

Work cooperatively with Rappahannock County Staff in achieving balanced Extension programs and implementing the Virginia Cooperative Extension CMl Rights Compliance Plan.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in agriculture area required; Master's Degree preferred. Experience in planning, implementing, and evaluating educational programs in appropriate discipline; ability to work with youth and adults; ability to recruit, train, and manage volunteers; ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing; computer/computer software knowledge desired.
