While Congress is debating health reform, significant changes are rapidly occurring which are destroying the excellent care we have come to expect, while not improving the delivery system nor extending it to those who are being deprived.

In opposing a single payer health care program or indeed opposing any national program involving government i and therefore “bureaucracy,” the many lobbying groups, which are basically selfserving and profit motivated, are completely ignoring that our present “system” consists of a great number of competing private bureaucracies, many of which are extremely large,
