Bible school at Amissville
Vacation Bible School is being held July 14-18, Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. until 12 noon at Amissville United methodist Church on Route 211 in Amissville. The theme is “Celebrate Jesus”. There will be stories, music, s^riptW^, Slacks, games, a puppet “Celly”, and a parade of celebration. Friday night there will be a program for family and friends at 7 p.m. followed by refreshments.
To register, please call 937-5480 or 937-4397. If registering Monday, please come 15 minutes early or more. Children 3 years through 12 years are welcome. There will be classes for 3-4 years, 5-6 years, grade 1-2, 3-4 and 5-7. Classes will go by the school grade just completed.
Daily themes are: Jesus Learns about God, Jesus Loves God, Jesus Shows God’s Love, Jesus Worships God, and We Celebrate Jesus. “Please come and be a part of a summer program for children July 14-18 which helps them understand more about God,” said Amissville Methodist Pastor, Rev. Nancy White.
