Elizabeth Chludzinski of Warrenton who has been a dedicated swim parent for six years thinks it provides structure during the summer and the discipline of swimming is good. It keeps her daughters in shape for other sports. She says it is something physical they can do all their lives.
This is the first year Japet Dunn of Amissville has her children in the swim team and she like the improvement in their stamina and strokes.
“It is like a big, supportive family. We cheer each other on. We do it for the fun,” says Candace Blaine of Warrenton who has been involved for six years.
