An article in The Washington Post recently, June 39, listed the recent laws passed by Maryland State Legislature, includes the following: “The ‘Rural Legacy’ program which will provide money 2to buy parcels of land to protect from development.”
Is it then not just a dream that our own Virginia Legislature might pass such a law? And would some of the provided money then be available-to us as the means of keeping our mountains as pristine as, for instance, the Alps of Switzerland? :
