Frances Hudson had surgery at the Winchester Medical Center last Monday and returned to her home on Wednesday. We wish her a speedy recovery. ;-v Irene Hamilton returned to her home at High Point, N.C. after spending a week with her mother, Mrs. Alice Brady.
Rubye Lillard of Etlan called on Mrs. Mary Hickerson, Thursday. ■ Ken and Cathy Cieslak and family of Ruther Glen spent Saturday with the latter’s parents, Ernie and Thelma Crane. They enjoyed a cook-out and were joined by Irene Hamilton of High Point.
Mr. and Mrs. Ashby Grimsley and Ashley of Front Royal and Larry Clark were Sunday visitors in the Bunny Hudson home.
Visiting Mr. and Mrs. Aubrey Lillard recently were ' Ada Grimsley, Millie James and Helen Coffey. ^ The Flint Hill United Methodist Church will have Worship service on Sunday,' July 12 at 8:45 a.m. The pastor, the Rev. Merlin Shorb invites the public.
The annual picnic of the Flint Hill, Willis Chapel and Sperryville United Methodist Churches will be held at the 4H Center Shelter in Harmony Hollow on Sunday, July 19 with worship service beginning at 11 a.m. followed by the picnic. Bring a picnic lunch and join the fellowship.

Mr. and Mrs. Biyant Welch and girls, Katie and Emily visited July 4th with the latter’s brother, Mike Holbik at Fairfax and with her brother-in-law and sister, Ron and Susie Walsh at Herndon. They attended fireworks at the Fairfax High School in the evening.
The Bryant Welch family were guests at a picnic at the home of Mike Holbik at Fairfax, Sunday.
