game 11-5 in 5 1/2 innings. Alex Sharp lead the hitting attack with three base hits, Jason Jenkins had two base hits, and James Lofton, Nick Raiford, Michael Ellis and Karl Thornhill had one base hit each. Jason Jenkins recorded the win striking out 15 batters, while giving up only three hits.

The second game of the day had Rappahannock playing Spotsylvania. The heat and humidity took it’s toll on the Rappahannock team as they lost that game 21-8 in four innings. Rappahannock out hit Spotsylvania six to four but had trouble throwing strikes. Alex Sharp, Jason Jenkins, and Will Miller each had two hits in the losing effort.

On Sunday Rappahannock played with great pride and determination staging a seemingly impossible rally to win 25-19 against Orange. Once again Rappahannock had trouble throwing strikes early in the game and trailed 18-6 after three innings.

In the fourth inning Rappahannock scored 15 runs and cruised to the final margin of victory. Jason Jenkins and Alex Sharp lead the hitting attack with four hits each; Jacob Dodson had two hits; Danny Holden, James Lofton, Will Miller, and Nick Raiford
