Pat Atkins Grigsby
Hothe: Castleton Occupation: Head Teller at Rappahannock National Bank.
Accomplishments: Mrs. Grigsby, a 1973 graduate of Rappahannock County High School will celebrate her 11th anniversary with the Rappahannock National Bank in April. Prior to her banking employment, she worked at AHeen Inc. in Flint Hill. Mrs. Grigsby contends that her favorite aspect of the job is meeting the people and providing service. Her co-workers, Helen Sealock and Georgia Gilpin says, “Pat is a delight to work with, we couldn’t do without her, she has a great personality.” Mrs. Grigsby is a member of Thornton Gap Regular Baptist Church and her hobbies include chopping and walking. She is married to Alvin Grigsby and they have one daughter, Rena, who is a senior at Rappahannock County High School and a part-time employee of Faith Mountain Company. The Rappahannock News is delighted to name Pat Atkins Grigsby as the first citizen-of-theweek for the year of 2000.
