at 7:30 p.m.
The first “live” performance in 2000 by RAAC, at The Theatre, will be that of two young musicians playing Friday, Jan. 14 at 7:30 p.m. prior to the movie, “The Red Violin” which follows at 8 p.m.
Dale Eugene Forrester, now at Hearthstone School, formerly at Wakefield Country Day School, and Liz Williams, now at Wakefield, are age 14 and accomplished violinists. ^ They have played together at the Shenandoah Valley Youth Chamber Orchestra, .and both have played violin since early childhood.
Liz has studied under Simon Runplett in The Plains and recently performed for the French classes at Wakefield. Her parents are Megan and Eric Williams with whom she lives in Winchester.
Dale is a ' talented and experienced concert violinist who has filled The Theatre with beautiful classical music and has enchanted local audiences on many memorable occasions. He has won the top instrumental musicianship prize at the annual Rappahannock Lions Club Bland Contests for three straight years.
This unusual feature will preclude seating for the movie while they are playing. Please come promptly at 7:30 to enjoy these two talented musicians and then stay for more enjoyment with the acclaimed “The Red Violin”.
