Lot No. 1 Beginning at a pile ot stones near a bar post on Poes Road at figure 1 on map corner to Lot No 2 thence with said lots line N 50 % E 71 4/5 poles to a stake in the line of M. L. Baggarty's farm at figure 2 thence with his line N 43 V4 W 10 poles to a point on road leading from Poes Road to Linden at figure 3 thence with said road S 48 Vi W 10 poles to figure 4S 73 14 W 33 23/25 poles to figure 5 S 45 W 34 poles to figure 6 a pile of stones at corner of yard on Poes Road, thence with said road S 46 E 21 1/6 poles to the beginning containing 8 acres.
LESS AND EXCEPT THEREFROM, however, the following described tracts or parcels of land previously conveyed from the original Lot No. 1 containing 8 acres described above, which tracts are more particularly described as follows:
One- that certain tract or parcel of land, being the southwestern portion of Lot 1 and containing approximately 1 acre, more or less, which tract was conveyed to Mary Frances Wells by deed from Henry Wells, et al, dated November 28, 1914 and recorded in Deed Book 33, page 417. Said tract of land containing 1 acre, more of less, was subsequently surveyed and found to comprise the following: (1) a tract of land containing 0.644 acres as shown on a plat of survey by Joseph G. Brogan, Sr., C.L.S., dated July 28, 1971 and attached to a deed recorded in Deed Book 101, page 393, and (2) a tract of land containing 0 5769 acre as shown on a plat of survey by Richard W. Thomas, L S., dated October 12, 1987 and attached to a deed recorded in Deed Book 167, page 394.
Two- that certain tract or parcel of land containing 1.00 acre as more particularly shown and described according to a plat and survey by S. M. Boyd, Jr., C.L.S., dated March 13, 1964, which tract was conveyed to Robert Myers by deed from Mary Frances Wells Robinson, et al, dated August 27, 1966 and recorded in Deed Book 87, page 51.
Three- that certain tract or parcel of land containing 1.00 acre as more particularly shown and described according to a plat and survey by Walter M. Duncan, Surveyor, dated April 27, 1951, which tract was conveyed to Albert Carter Jett and Bessie May Jett by deed from Josephine L Wells, et al, dated September 5, 1958 and recorded in Deed Book 88, page 72.
AND BEING the residue of the land conveyed to Thomas Wells as by Deed of Partition dated June 12, 1900 and recorded in Deed Book V, page 69 from Daniel Sloan, David L. Sloan and Adelaide Helen Moten conveyed to Thomas Wells (as the heirs at law of David Lloyd, deceased).
