As Head Coach Stan Brooks Jr. said after the tournament, "It was a positive experience for the girls. They played a lot of volleyball in one day. They saw three of the teams in our District and played the best in Madison and won one of those games. They know they can beat anyone if they play consistently up to their ability. At times in the tournament, they were superb and unbeatable when they executed properly and played as a team. In the final match against Louisa they were really tired and yet, they showed a great deal of character and played together, never giving up — they won that match. I'm looking forward to the New Year."
Wrestling
The first year wrestling program had an exciting week of home match action. They had their only two home events this final part of the year and they treated fans and spectators {dike to some interesting sports action.
