Nathan Flinchum received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the College of William and Mary on Saturday, Dec. 16.

A wine and cheese reception and recognition ceremony was held in the University Center at William and Mary honoring December degree candidates. College President Timothy J. Sullivan individually recognized those students completing degrees.

During his college career, Nathan was a tuba player in the William and Mary concert band and a member of the Stage Combat Club. He did volunteer work for Eastern State Mental Facility and the Colonial Services Board.

He is presently employed by Huntington Associates in Williamsburg and hopes to attend graduate school at William and Mary in the fall.

Nathan was a 1997 graduate of Rappahannock County High School. He is the son of Roger and Deborah Flinchum and brother of Bruce Flinchum, all of Viewtown.
