RAAC movie on Feb. 7
“My Big Fat Greek Wedding” will be shown at The Theatre on Gay Street in Washington on Friday, Feb. 7 at 8 p.m. It is a charming and very funny movie and is being brought back by RAAC for the second showing by popular demand. Tickets are $6 adults; $4 students.
Sunny side to hold tasting
Sunnyside Farm Market is inviting everyone to a gourmet wine and chocolate tasting on Saturday, Feb. 8 at their store on Gay Street in Washington.
4-H winter camp to begin
The Culpeper-Shenandoah-Rappahannock 4-H Winter Camp is scheduled for Feb. 7-9 at the Northern Virginia 4-H Center in Front Royal, Va. The theme for the weekend is “Secret Agent.”
Registration will be held in Robinson Lodge from 6:30-7 p.m. on Friday and checkout will be 11 a.m. on Sunday.
Camp is open to any 4-H'er age 9-14 as of Sept. 30, 2003. The cost for the weekend is $65.

A Valentines wine dinner
A five-course Valentines wine dinner will be held at the Oasis Winery on Saturday, Feb. 8 and Friday, Feb. 14 at 7:30 p.m. at the winery in Hume, Va. Tickets are $75 per person. For more information, call 800-304-7656.
Headwaters event on Jan. 31
Southern Africa will be the focus of the second presentation in the Headwaters Global Spotlight series on Jan. 31. Photojournalist Chris Johns, best-known for his wildlife photography in National Geographic magazine will speak about his recent book, “Wild at Heart" with a show of his slides of animals, people and landscapes of southern Africa. The event will begin at 7:30 p.m. in the auditorium of the Rappahannock Couhty High School Everyone is welcome.
Yoga classes at Healing Arts Center
Yoga classes are meeting on Mondays for Bone Health and on Saturdays for Stress Management at the Healing Arts Center in Sperryville. Both classes are held from 8 a.m. to 9:15 a.m. There are still spaces available. Classes are open to all levels and no previous experience is required.

Bridal fashion shoiv on Feb. 22
More than 150 vendors are expected at the Oatlands Bridal Show and Expo on Saturday, Feb. 22 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. with a bridal fashion show at 12 noon and 2 p.m. The event will be held under heated tents on the grounds of the Oatlands mansion, a 261-acre property of the National Trust for Historic Preservation.
