Michael T. Leake, executive vice president and chief executive officer of Rappahannock National Bank has announced the promotion of Georgia Gilpin to executive assistant and assistant vice president and Sherry Cillo to branch manager.

“Georgia has proven to be a valuable and efficient employee within our organization. Her new duties will allow her the opportunity to utilize her strengths in our growing executive area,” said Mr. Leake.

Mrs. Gilpin joined the bankin April 1990. In 2000 she was elected to the office of assistant vice president and named branch manager of the bank. Mrs. Gilpin will transfer from the retail side of banking to the executive side.
