The Rappahannock schools’ bands' fruit sale was a great success this year thanks to the work of students in both the elementary school and high school. Top sales students in the elementary school (photo above) are from left: Cody Raney, Sarah Smobt and Stevie Ross. High school top sellers (photo at right) are from left: Jessica Estes, Brian Taylor, Ben Verrill and Amber Long. Proceeds from the band sale of 520 cases of oranges, grapefruits and tangerines go toward the purchase of additional instruments as well as the spring RCHS band trip to Williamsburg, Va.
