Headwaters has rescheduled photographer Chris Johns' lecture and slide show on Southern Africa to Friday. Feb. 21 at 7:30 p.m. at the Rappahannock County High School auditorium. If the schools are closed that day due to inclement weather, the lecture will be postponed until Feb. 28.
‘Never give up ’ on Feb. 15
Macedonia Baptist Church will present a production, “Never Give Up." on Saturday. Feb. 15 at 5 p.m. at the church in Flint Hill. The cast of 30.with drama and song, will commemorate the heritage of those who never qave up seekinq freedom.
Gid Brown Church revival
Everyone is welcome to attend a revival with special singing on Feb. 17-19 at 7:30 p.m. at the Gid Brown Bible Baptist Church in Washington with Pastor Don McCann of Kinsport, Tenn. officiating. There will be a nightly nursery.
Casino Night Feb. 15
The third annual Casino Night sponsored by the Rappahannock County School Sports Association will begin at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 15 at the Washington School on Mt. Salem Avenue in the town of Washington. Since no tickets can be purchased at the door, guests may call in advance to Cathy Kreyling at 987-8131. This affair benefits the athletic programs at the county public schools.
