ECOW holds celebration

The Epicurious Cow will hold a special Valentine's tasting of champagne, strawberries, ice cream and a variety of chocolate goodies and other food on Saturday, Feb. 15 from 2-6 p.m. on Route 211 in Ben Venue. Saxophone artist Alex Shafran will provide music. For further information call 6752269.

Aerobics begin Feb. 17

An aerobic/flexercise class will begin on Monday. Feb. 17 at the Washington School on Mt. Salem Avenue. Classes will be Monday and Wednesday from 5:30-6:30 p.m. for six weeks. Lion’s Club Music Contest

The Rappahannock County Lion's Bland Music Contest will be held on Sunday, Feb. 23 at The Theatre on Gay Street in Washington. It is still open for all students of music — vocal and instrumental at elementary and high school level.

Music students can pick up applications at the library, high school, elementary School and at Wakefield School.

Interactive Theatre Workshops

The Rappahannock Healing Arts Center is offering Interactive Theatre Workshops on Saturday. Feb. 15 and Saturday, March 1 in Sperryville.

A Valentines wine dinner

Spring soccer sign-ups

The Rappahannock Soccer League is accepting registrations for its spring soccer season. Registration forms can be picked up at the kiosk in front of the Washington post office, county library, Wakefield Country Day School, RCES and RCHS. Final cut off for signups is Feb. 26. Yoga classes at Healing Arts Center

Yoga classes are meeting on Mondays for Bone Health and on Saturdays for Stress Management at the Healing Arts Center in Sperryville. Both classes are held from 8 a.m. to 9:15 a.m. There are still spaces available. Classes are open to all levels and no previous experience is required.

Farmers form new group

The Rappahannock Farmers Association is forming a group of growers who grass-feed livestock, any species, without grain. The group's first meeting will be on Feb. 20 at 7:30 p.m. at Joyce Harman's Flint Hill home. Those interested in arass fed livestock are welcome to attend. For directions, call 675-1855.
