our son has Duchenne MD. As boys with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy get older their muscles will weaken and deteriorate.
Even the simplest of tasks like walking, holding a fork, turning over in bed or giving us a hug become very difficult and ultimately impossible. .
Tb date there is no cure for Duchenne MD — only hope that by raising awareness and money for research our son and many others like him might have a brighter future ahead of him.
