Services took no action then the school board did not warrant action. This “two wrongs make a right” thinking is totally amazing and unjustified.
The Rappahannock Department of Social Services is an agency dedicated to the welfare of children in Rappahannock County. When information was brought to the agency’s attention, the agency turned the matter over to the Fauquier County Sheriff’s Department and removed the minor from the Fournier home.
I am familiar with this case as my husband and I have been foster parents since 1997 and this foster child that was sexually abused had been in our care too.
The Fourniers will never again hold the position of foster parent within the Commonwealth of Virginia — a distinction that is less than desirable.
Additionally, the individuals in need of an understanding of this case seem to be blinded by the musical talents of this teacher.
The fact that Mrs. Fournier is a music teacher with the Rappahannock County school system should not have any
