No definite decisions were made by the approximately 400 people who assembled in Washington High School auditorium last evening to hear a series of recommendations and to conduct a public discussion of what can be done to better the schools of Rappahannock County. W. H. Massie, Jr. suggested the moving of the Sperryville high school pupils to Washington and consolidate into one. J. W. Fletcher requested a school board opinion on consolidation — what it should be, and whether there should be a new building or use the old ones.
The Rappahannock Hunt Club will hold a " joint meet with the Old Dominion Hunt Club at Fletcher’s Double Gates at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 22. A hunt breakfast will be held at Mt. Prospect, the home of Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Miller at the conclusion of the hunt
Mrs. John P. Snead entertained the bridge club on Thursday evening of last week at her home here. Those playing were Mrs. C. H. Branch, Mrs. C. E. Johnson, Mrs. Holmes Hall, Mrs. Charles Estes, Mrs. R. M. Menefee, Mrs. Joseph H. Aylor.
