U There he stayed for over an hour clinging to the pole. Castleton resident Robert Frye Came upon the scene. Frye said he drove over the hill and saw a gray pickup truck backing up the road. I The man driving the pickup stopped and asked Frye if he had a rope, explaining that there was a man in the water hanging on to a pole who needed to be rescued. His car was ^nowhere to be seen. "ii: "He said he was cold," Frye said of Allison.
