The new 2002 Chamois Blanc of Sharp Rock Vineyards in Rappahannock County has received the most medals so far in 2003 wine competitions with a silver medal at the Indy International Wine Competition and three bronzes.
Chamois Blanc is a semi-dry white, blended from Chardonnav and Vidal and it is named in honor of Sharp Rock's first wine dog Shammy.
The Chamois is popular in the tasting room where it is the number one i seller.
