Deverell Pedersen, a fan of Cold Steel Benders which performed at 2:15 p.m. on Saturday, had traveled all the way from Silver Spring, Md.
Kristine and Bill Rowe, who were attending for their third year, were from Warren County.
For them, there was no question about what drew them out to this yearly event.
“It’s the music obviously,” he said.
“And just hearing what’s going on locally,” she added.
This local feel is what Ross thinks makes the event so unique. He said in order to be part of the line up, which boasted the new Rude Rock Family, featuring Noah Wagner of Stick ‘Em Up and The Day Care Swindlers, band members were required to either live or work in Rappahannock County.
