on their feet. RCHS jumped ahead in game five and nevfir looked back. With a 13-7 lead, the Panthers regained the serve and finished off the Rams 15-7. RCHS won the match 3-2 and claimed the top spot in the Bull Run District.
Highlights of the match included 39 kills with Ryisha Cook tallying 18, Anna Kreyling 12, Mattie Nawrocki five, Danielle Hiserman three, and Lara Kreyling, one. Lara Kreyling assisted in 32 of the kills. Anna had 12 blocks and Ryisha had nine.
Hoping to even their record, the JV squad took the floor. Strasburg, the defending JV champions, scored first. However, with aggressive net play Rappahannock was able to rally and take the lead. Strasburg responded with a few aces, but RCHS was able to pull out a 25-21 win. In the second game Strasburg again scored first and took the lead. The young lady Panthers again continued to dominate at the net tallying many kills and even a few blocks, rare at the JV level. Rappahannock was able to put Strasburg away 25-19 to win game two and the match 2-0.
