the first half of the evening with “Pianissimo,” the story of a most unusual agreement between violin teacher and student.
The second part of the evening begins with Renate Ruzich’s portrait of “Captain Kreisig,” the stern Berlin taskmaster who took a horse-crazy girl and taught her not only how to be a fine horseback rider but a self-disciplined, mature adolescent as well.
Then Ruth Richards delights us with three funny little snake tales (or is that tails?) in “Serpent Wropped Him Round the Stump.” And, finally, Joyce Abell winds up the evening with her touching homage to her favorite aunt, “My Aunt Anya.”
