The Rappahannock Relay for Life is Saturday, May 22 and this year the sun hopefully will shine.
The pre-Relay activities begin with registration and campsite set-up at 3 p.m. at the Rappahannock County Elementary School, Cancer survivors are encouraged to register and come to the reception that will begin at 3:15 p.m. The official opening ceremony will begin at 4 p.m.
The Relay itself wall begin with the Survivor’s "Walk after the Survivors Ceremony. All cancer survivors are urged to participate in this part of the Relay.
Following the survivor’s lap, walkers from teams will continue the Relay throughout the night while other team members enjoy the activities, or sleep, or rest at their campsites.
