on May 21 and 22 at 7:30 p.m.in the school’s auditorium: Arthur Miller’s epic drama, “The Crucible ”
The play which tells the story of the catastrophic Salem Witch trials of 1692, is the epitome of high drama, and has required an extraordinary effort from all members of the cast and crew.
This complex and universally poignant play is a challenge for even professional actors to perform, yet the dedicated and energetic cast has truly brought the story to magnificent heights.
“The Crucible” is a play of passion, hysteria, moral righteousness and instability, lust, and pride. These complex themes and daunting subject matter were originally looked upon as nearly impossible for the Drama Department to properly convey, yet the cast has brought depth and new light to Miller’s masterpiece.
