The Ladies Auxiliary presented the company with a special honor: a $5,000 gift from the group's hard-earned treasury. The company, in turn, announced a donation in honor of the auxiliary’s service to the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation, which helps families of firefighters killed in the line of duty visit the national memorial, among other services.
Though it is impossible to adequately thank all who contributed to the company’s 50 years of success, special thanks go to those who helped make the anniversary celebration so special.
In addition to all those mentioned above, we thank our company and auxiliary charter members, who gathered on two occasions to mark the celebration; Jan Clatterbuck, Nick Horrock and Mary Ann Kuhn of the Rappahannock News who helped with historic research and provided generous coverage;
