Headwaters’ summer
workshops begin in July

Summer is just around the corner which means it's almost time for Headwaters' 2004 Summer Workshops program.
County children ranging in age from rising second graders through eighth graders are encouraged to sign up now' for the July 19 -30 workshops. Forms are available at RCHS, RCES, Wakefield. Hearthstone and Sperryville Pottery.
As in the past, there will be exciting workshops, 14 diverse ones ranging from mountaineering to drama, tile making to basket weaving, and creative writing to dog grooming.
Each workshop runs during the. morning for five days. The size is kept small, so early registration is encouraged
There are a number of paid internships available for rising ninth through twelfth graders. Interns will be assigned to assist individual workshop teachers. Registration forms are available at RCHS.
The Summer Workshops are sponsored by Headwaters, the Rappahannock County Public Education Foundation. Headwaters' mission is to foster educational excellence by cultivating the cooperative spirit and resources of the whole community to benefit all students.
