The lighting of the luminaries at dark around 9 p.m. in honor or memory of both cancer victims and cancer survivors;
• The singing of a new song “I’ve Got to Live” written by Paul Reisler and a group of cancer survivors;
• Pizza madness at 11 p.m. where pizza will be served to all the teams;
• Judging to find the best camp site and camp site theme;
• Continental breakfast at 6 a.m. on Sunday, May 23;
• Closing ceremonies at 8 a.m. when the teams that met their fund-raising goals as well as those top fund-raising teams will be recognized; and finally
• Clean up. Final arrangements
The many teams are completing their fund-raising and readying themselves for the Relay, entertainment and camping out. They also are busy preparing food under the direction of Bev Atkins, the Picnic Chair. Others are busy making certain that all of the details are in place to assure a safe and enjoyable Relay.
