Concurrently, Murdoch began writing articles about her simplified riding for a variety of equestrian magazines, including Practical Horseman, Equus, Dressage and CT and more.
“Everything was interconnected,” Murdoch said. “The articles gave my clinics more attention. The clinics gave me material for my articles.”
Teaching riders, she added, guided her to develop horse training methods. With her growing knowledge of horses she developed keen awareness for more effective riding instruction.
“Wendy Murdoch is well rounded in her own education,” said Michigan horseman Tim Wright, whose Waverly Farm often sponsors Murdoch riding clinics. “She is open- minded, articulate and low-key in her approach to teaching and training. Above all else she is an excellent horsewoman.”
