David Palmer Close, 89, a Washington lawyer and Director Emeritus of the International Eye Foundation, died peacefully of natural causes on July 4 at his country home in Rappahannock County, Hungry Run Farm in Amissville.
Mr. Close was bom in New York, N.Y. on March 16, 1915. He graduated from The Hill School in 1934; Williams College in 1938; and Columbia School of Law in 1942.
