The biggest gadget this year, in Jones’ opinion, is the “Oregon Cedar Grill." Basically, it’s a thin slice of cedar wood, about the size of a bread board.You soak it in water, slap a piece of fish on it and put it on the grill. “It puts smoke in the fish.” Smoke is barbecue-speak for flavor. And it does so without burning up the wood. Nifty, eh? Since the right temperature is important, Jones has a fork that digitally reads the information and tells you when it's done. See BBQ, Page B8
