On Friday, July 2, Rappahannock squared off with Northside of Charlottesville. Rappahannock trailed 1-0 at the end of the first inning, but answered back with three runs in the second inning to take the lead that it never relinquished. The boys from Rappahannock went on to score eight more runs •pnd won going away 11-1 in 5 •innings'. Leading the way for ^Rappahannock’s blistering offensive attack were: Coy Ferrell with a home run and a double; Matt Case with two singles; Sammy Purdom with a double and two RBIs; Taylor Yowell with a double and one RBI; Patrick Hanberry with one double; Evan Espinola with one double; John Lezcano with a single and one RBI, Bull Trollinger with a single, and Conner Miller with a single and two RBIs.
