Rappahannock News Staff Writer
Rappahannock County Circuit Court Judge Burke F. McCahill last week sentenced Roy Pullen, 54, of Gid Brown Hollow to 12 months in jail in a case that goes back 25 years.
Pullen was convicted June 30 of a felony charge of taking indecent liberties with a child under 14 years of age. The child was Deborah “Debbi” Pullen, then 10. The alleged incident occurred April 28, 1979. Now 35 and married, her name is Debbi Lacy.
Judge McCahill on Aug. 24 imposed the sentence recommended
