Holly May, Marilouise Bane and Kate May collected wildflowers for the annual dried flower sale to be held at Trinity Episcopal Church Oct. 15 and 16.

Peter A. Moznich, a resident of Boston and a June graduate of Rappahannock County High School, has been awarded the Rev. Maurice M. duCastillon scholarship by his parish community of Precious Blood Catholic Church in Culpeper. Moznich will pursue a degree in electronics engineering at Piedmont Virginia Community College in Charlottesville.

Dr. and Mrs. A. Willis Dearing of Huntly celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary on Aug. 4. The two were married in 1924 by the Rev. Hinkle in the Bethlehem Chapel at the Washington Cathedral in Washington, D.C. Each will also celebrate a birthday this month. Willis will turn 95 on Aug. 28 and Virginia will turn 88 on Aug. 26. As in past years, they will split the difference and celebrate on Aug. 27.
