Saying that she is merely seeking vengeance is so unfair, when what made her come forward about this heinous crime was the thought that Roy would be working with Debbie’s and other children in the elementary school. She has to live with what he did to her for the rest of her life. All she wanted was the justice she didn’t receive. All he had to do was sober up and forget about it.
The people of Rappahannock County should thank Debbie for her bravery. Remember that a leopard never changes his spots. I am a proud cousin of Debbie Lacy.
