Erma Lucille Pcndetgast. 80, deponed this life on April 18, 2008 in peace at her beloved home in Washington, Virginia, She was married fifty five yean, to the late Thomas S Pendcigast. Jr. Together they were always known as 'Tom and Lima" in unison at the vanous ear shows, shooting matches, and airplane rallies fcrma is survived by her brother. James h Hoffman and his w ife. Joan of Marion. Ohio. She is also survived by her devoted nephew, Jytnm A. Hottman ami his daughter. Abigail and wife, Laura of Anibridge, PA. Several other family members include Susan Pcndergast Rothermel, Sharon Leach ot Orlando, PL. Sondra Hottman of Charlotte. NC. Steven Hottman, of McHenry. IL, Sheldon Hottman. of Nevada, OH. Donald hied of Ormond Beaeh, PL, and Ruth Carver of Manon, OH. Emia was surrounded by her special friends. John Riley and Cindy Thornhill and her daughter, Brittany Thornhill along with much support and encouragement from Dr. John McCue. She was very grateful to various friends for their assistance and compassion including Ed and Judith Pager, Donnie Burton, Judy Deal, Sallie Fances Thornhill, and Patsy Good. Her constant companions were her “pooches". Gretchea and Gaikie. Erma Pcndergast was horn tn Marion. Ohio on December 3, 1927. She achieved multiple milestones in life where traditional women never ventured including but not limited to the participation lit old car restorations, shinning matches, resolving mechanical issues, and the grooming of her perfect yard She was a conservative Republican and activist in Rappahannock County A celebration of her hie and legacy will be 2:00 Friday, May 2.2008 beginning at Found and Sons Funeral Home, 850 SpetTyville Pike, Culpeper.
