To answer the writers of both letters in the Rappahannock News last week with similar statements o£ “Runs efficiently without the waste touted in public meetings'’ and “That our school system is not guilty of fiscal irresponsibility”
The school board is not efficiently operating our school system. Many class sizes are ridiculously smaller than surrounding counties, many bus routes are with fewer riders, school leaders are creating jobs without job descriptions (see MGT report) and mismanagement of food service and
over $180,000 to be transferred from the instruction category last year to balance funds. This mismanagement took tax dollars from one category that directly affects the children in the classroom! Is this fiscal responsibility?
