Regular twilight polo starts up at Great Meadow’s Lighted arena May 31, with action every Saturday night through Sept 14.

Two games are played each week, with high-goal action as the feature, or later, match.

Opening night is May 31. Special features in June include: June 7 College night; June 14 Junior night; June 21 Grass field meadow matches — the Courage Cup plus Taw enforcement night”; June 28 Washington polo championships 6-goal — Arundel Cup.

In July, there will be a special “steeplechase grass field demo” during the 4th of July celebrations at Great Meadow. On July 5, TWilight Polo has a special charity night; July 12 is Virginia Centennial Trophy; July 19 is the military appreciation night plus Patton/Puller Trophy; and July 26 is the popular high-goal Capitol Cup.

August action starts Aug. 2 with an Olympics theme; on Aug. 9 there is a bull riding rodeo in the arena — no polo; Aug. 16 action returns with the Roberto Villegas trophy and “Latin night"; Aug. 23 is the
