Oaturday night. April 12, braised the bar? For four years the Rappahannock County Band Boosters have hosted a Coffee House to celebrate music in our public Schools, but especially qujRCHS Panther Band program, We began this tradition to have tun and celebrate the band's successes, with the thought thar if we made some money in the process that would be fun, tool Saturday night we exceeded our wildest expectations. We doubled the amount we have mnde in the past, and had a great time to boot? Thanks to the following individuals and many more, the night was a screaming success!
Performers, in no particular order, were Robert CHasker and Friends Anders Drew. Jihnny Pierce, Steve Pratt and former Front Royal Mayor George Ranks (rousing blues band). Debbie Znn (well-known talented singer), Ryan Benyo and Matt Terry (amazing keyboard artist and drummer!, Ifos Allen and Matt Yonkey (great jazz sax), Dan Lewis, Berm Olson, Dennis Fairbrother and Dr. Bob Chappell (bluegrass at its best). Butch and Zack Jackson (father-and-son duo), Lorraine Duisit (accomplished musician, haa appeared on Prairie Home Companion!), Bob Shaffer (multi-faceted performer, amazing voice). Janet Dunn (folk singer), and Larry Sherertz t former Rappahannock County sheriff). Bob Treanor and Brooke Ptorkhurst (former singer in the group Rappahannock, and member of award-winning Tinsmith Celtic Band), Rick Kohler < the baritone broker), Jeff Light and Dave Gilhs (dueling blues harmonicas) and. of course, the incredible Panther Jazz Band. We thank them all!
