Cordani opines that School Board critics didn’t show up at the public School Board meeting because no one there listens to them. After a couple School Board meetings as well as “fire hall” meetings in Amissville and Sperryville. fm wondering why anyone should listen to them.

Mr. Cordani references “a school budget spiraling out of control.” In truth, the School Board’s proposed budget is $311,000 less than Last year’s and lowers the schools' percentage of the county budget from about 60 percent to around 55. The proposed county budget, if allowed to stand, would slash another $250,000 from the school while lavishing double-digit percentage increases elsewhere. This is Mr. Cordani's idea of a school budget “spiraling out of control”! Where, downward?

Mr. Cordani goes on to complain about lowering yearly tuition for outofcounty students to about $6,n IQ. He says he just can’t understand why. that such low tuition is akin to advertising m surrounding counties and quotes Dr. Chappell as hoping to
