Ms. Crocker, all of our children deserve the best we can afford to give them. 1 don’t think that is an issue with anyone in this county The issue is that taxes keep going up to support a school budget that refuses to spend our money efficiently.
Ms. Crocker refers to our school system as “An educational program of high quality.” 1 challenge anyone to read the state efficiency review report or look up the Standards of Learning test scores on the state Web site. It appears to me Rappahannock schools are not of the quality we are told. The MGT reports. “Rappahannock student sub-groups are underperforming the state average in math and language arts.”
Rappahannock County has one of the highest per student costs among other counties in our state. I think our students’ state test scores should be among the highest also. Ms. Crocker, who is foiling whom here?
