The cost of erne additional out-ofcounty student is negligible. Buses don't go out of route to pick them up so there’s not much there. The students flush school toilets and hopefully wash their hands afterward so there's a little cost for soap, water etc. There are other costs for school supplies such as paper and the like. The cost of additional utilities is so small that it is probably not even measurable. No costs for additional staff or facilities are incurred.
On the revenue side, the school receives $6,440 in tuition and $1,300 in state revenue.
Raise the tuition rate to a level that eliminates four out-of county students and there are negligible savings to offset revalue loss of $32,960. The School Board estimated that by lowering the rate we might get a couple new students rather than losing those that we have.
