for Black History Month and Women’s History Month, and came to life in photos and stories on Sunday. At the invitation of the Rappahannock Historical Society, former Rappahannock resident Nan Butler Roberts, daughter of Dorothy Butler and the late Howard Butler of Sperryville, described the inspiring lives of three women. Mrs. Roberts earned her BA from James Madison University, her MA from George Washington University and is employed by the County Executive in Fairfax County.
